LIFESTYLE: How I Spent My New Years Eve

Happy New Year lovelies. I hope you guys are ready for 2016.

I always feel as though there is such a huge pressure to go out and have fun on new year's eve. Then you go out, everything is expensive, everyone annoys you more than usual and you come home disappointed. So this year I decided to stay in with my boyfriend and have a relaxing night.

I started off the night in my jammies

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a sucker for donuts/doughnuts. It's the reason I can never lose weight. These primark jammies are great and less than a tenner! (I may still be wearing them as I type this!)

Joey made duck stir fry which was absolutely amazing. I'm not usually a fan of duck but I loved this

Can you see the steam?!

Finally, I made a Guinness chocolate cake. I never drink guinness but my Gran always has a can for when she's feeling run down haha.

I didn't even get a chance to take a photo of the whole cake before Joey cut a huge slice! But this is one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever made. I'll put up the recipe soon :)

After all that eating we sat and binged watched documentaries on Netflix.
I know that's ridiculously boring to some, but I really enjoyed ringing in the new year with someone I love, comfy in my jammies, and stuffed with good food!

I've decided not to talk about my New Years Resolution post as I'm planning an exciting project about all I want to achieve by the time I'm 25!
But how did you guys spend your New Years? Comment below

Lots of Love

  1. I love this and cannot wait to get your cake recipe. I had a chilled one as you know, but it was lovely to be with my mum and just do nothing! See you soon :) xxx

I love reading your comments and will always reply xoxo
