RECIPE: Peach & Apple Crumble

I hate the cold. I think I'm gonna start every blog post for the next couple weeks the same way...sorry. I do love the food we get to really enjoy once it gets cold. Soup, stews and crumble.

You guys know better than anyone I have the biggest sweet tooth. Apple crumble was the first dish I made with my mum. I remember being really little, standing on a chair to make the crumble with my hands. Its a British classic and you can always make variations.

I went with peach and apple!

You will need:

150g flour
100g butter cubed
125g granulated sugar
A sprinkle of cinnamon
A Tin of peaches (or three loose)
Two apples
Sultanas (optional)

1. Drain your peaches and cut into small chunks. Place into your dish. Add some sultanas if you want!

2. Next place flour, a pinch of cinnamon and the sugar into a large bowl then mix.

3. Take a few cubes of butter and rub into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs

4. Pour the flour mixture over the fruit and place in an oven for 40/45 mins at 180c

5. DON'T LET YOUR BOYFRIEND LOOK AFTER THE TIMING! It SHOULD be a golden brown colour and ready to serve

Left just a TAD too long

6. Add custard, because custard makes everything better!

I actually quite like the taste of pies and crumbles when they are slightly overdone, but it's not blog photo beautiful is it?! HAHA

Let me know what you think of my recipe in the comments below. I have a lot of recipe blogs in pipeline for you guys. Hope you're ready!

Lots of Love
