BEAUTY/LIFESTYLE: Get Summer Ready with Me - Face

Hey guys! Its my first get ready for holiday post so I’m gonna talk about my face!

I’m actually a terrible beauty blogger and don’t use a lot of make up on my face, especially on holiday. So I make sure that my skin is smooth and blemish free.
I make little changes food and drink wise before going on holiday. I drink a lot more water, cut down on sugar and drink a green juice a day.

A face mask on a Sunday is one of my favourite things. While doing holiday prep I use two masks: Superdrugs Dead Sea Mud Mask for a deep cleanse[HERE] and a homemade Honey & Spirulina one from health blogger Madeline Shaw.

I’ve spoken about the dead sea mask before so I’ll get straight on how to make and use the honey and spirulina mask.

Honey and Spirulina both have positive factors. Honey has many antioxidants and antibacterial while spirulina has vitamin A, E, B12, calcium and iron.

All you need is:
2tsp of spirulina powder
1 tbsp of runny honey

Mix them together and spread on your face and leave for 10 minutes.

Your face should feel so smooth and look brighter already!!

After the face mask I use my normal E45 moisturiser. At night I use my trustee friend sudocreme to dry out any blemishes.

You can buy spirulina powder [HERE]. Try mixing a teaspoon in water and drinking that everyday for some great health benefits!

Let me know if any of you guys try this mask. It's so amazing, although it's a bit freaky when you see green water as you watch it off!
