Review: Good Things Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser

If you've read my blog before you know I have oily skin. My post on dealing with it is HERE. Using that mask is great, but when it comes to moisturising my face... the oily issue is back.

I have tried several oil free moisturisers but they never seem to last very long and I start looking shiny and horrible again. I know there are several matte primers out there, but I tend to use them before my make up routine and I feel they don't moisturise. Thats where Good Things Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser comes in.

This moisturiser contains 'superfruits' Blackcurrant and Goji Berrys, which quickly absorb into your skin. The blackcurrant extract absorbs all the excess oil in your skin which gives that matte finish. The goji berry makes your skin brighter. I tend to get alot more spot breakouts due to excess oil around my forehead and cheeks, but since using this product my skin is looking great! This moisturiser doesn't dry out your face in order to get that matte effect. It balances with your skin to maintain the right amount of oil. I love that it doesn't make your face feel or even look dry. Sometimes I avoid moisturising to stop the excess oil but I end up getting the feeling that when I smile my and face hasn't been moisturised properly my skin cracks.

The texture is similar to the texture of a primer. It doesn't feel oily and overly creamy in your hand. I also don't feel that I need to use as much to get coverage for my whole face. It has a lovely fruity smell which of course is due to the added superfruits, but its not overbearing which I love.

I must admit, I didn't think the matte look would last all day. The problem I had with other oil free moisturisers was that it's great at first but by lunch time I would look like tin foil!! Hand on heart... I can say that my face looked matte when I came home after a hard days work. I tried to take a photo... but it really didn't give this product the justice it deserves.

It also boasts that its free of the icky stuff that you get in other creams. Such as : Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Animal Ingredients and Mineral Oils.

You can get it from boots for £5.33 if you get there quickly. Otherwise normal price is £7.99.

P.S- Sorry about the photo quality recently. I left my camera at my flat and I'm currently staying with the family til after Christmas. Also... I'll be putting up my first Christmas Themed Blog later :)
